pre amp suggestions please

budget is $200 or less hopefully.

I have plenty of amps.. now I need a pre amp with a phono input that sounds good. this will be for 2ch only SDA 2B rig.

Anyone ever own or heard a Pioneer Elite C-91 before? I lost out on one today on Epay. while doing research on it.. someone bought it while I was online within 10 minutes. :mad:

so I need some suggestions on a good sounding amp within my budget.

    Agree with the P/HP-850, if you can stretch the budget there's a couple of Nak CA-5's on the gon.

    I had one in my set up before it all went into storage. I still have it and I may or may not be selling it also. (Getting to it might be tricky). It's very nice sounding but I replaced it with a MF A3CR ( Which I haven't even unpacked and may also be selling sometime down the road). I can't tell you how the 850 compares but steveinaz can.
