Can someone tell em the exact tube complement for the Jolida Sj 302a

I can't seem to find the specs anywhere. Jolidas web page has the specs for the 302B but I don't know if they are the same as the 302A. I am assuming they are. But I don't want to buy a bunch of tubes untill I am sure I am getting the right ones.

Yeah, same specs for 302A and 302B. The differences between these two versions are primarily aesthetic.

Consider these power tubes for your Jolida:

Thanks for the JJ reference. I was thinking of doing a whole EH complement of tubes in it. Do you have expereience with both? What are the differences between the two that you noticed?

Also is there a need for matched sections for the preamp and driver tubes? Or is it just a waste of money?

After looking at a the reviews of the EL34 tubes at the tubestore. I think I will go with the JJ's over the EH's. Looks like the JJ's are a little less detailed. I think I might go with the JJ's out back and maybe the EH's up front. I don't know though, I need to do some more reading.

EH's are very good, but a bit on the bright and anal side, IMO. Consider Groove Tube 12AX7M's and Mullard 12AT7's.

IIRC, TheTubeStore is located in Hamilton, Ontario . If you are ordering from the US, you will incur customs fees.

Really? Because I have ordered twice from them with no fees. Just a standard shipping rate of $7.95 I think. And the stuff usually gets here quick.

I have read all of your threads and posts about your experience with the 502b
and these tubes. I have also done a little reading about them on the net and decided to go with all the tubes you recommended. The JJ EL34's with the GT's and the Mullards.

I have also read about all the mods you did to yours and plan to do the same with mine. I plan to let the tubes break in and get some decent listening in and then do the mods.

There are so many things that can be done to this amp! I can't wait to get it. If I've said it once I have said it a thousand times. This will be it for quite a while. I am hopeing it will be. It couldn't get here soon enough.:D

I bought two quads of matched and balanced EH goldpin 6SN7's from the tube store and was only charged std shipping and handling fee's ;) I think that only items going from the US to Canada are subject to the Canadian customs fees.

They might just as well have an american store. Good to know, because their catalog is good.

Actually, just found this on their info page:
    Our address:
    512 James Street North
    Hamilton, Ontario
    Canada L8L 1J4

So I guess you guys are lucky. Saving taxes and customs. That's a major bonus for these small orders. I'd have to pay 13% tax and still expect 3 days shipping for a 250 mile ordeal.

As long as they have the tubes I am looking for. I will always buy from them. They have a decent selection with decent prices and they ship there stuff out very quickly.

Edit: I was a little disappointed they didn't carry Groovy Tubes.

I'm so confused.:( After reading about baggedlancers situation. I was wondering what tubes I could use for my Jolida 302a. Can I use a KT-88 or a 6550 tube? If so. Should I be useing one of thoughs instead of the EL-34's? I have already ordered the JJ El-34's but I could return them for different tubes. What should I do?
