Very nice! I wish it was available in black when I picked mine up. So you must have the system cranking in that picture huh?

My amps draw next to nothing at idle. I have my TV and other misc. items plugged into my UPS, so I don't see how much they draw."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. Enjoy, I really like mine.

I have one of these as well. My two Adcom amps sure draw a ton of current at startup, especially the 7 channel. It a real beneift to be able to monitor voltage and current from each receptacle bank on the Belkin. One thing the Belkin doesn't have is automatic voltage regulation. That would be a great addition to that product line. I purchased an APC H10 for my new LCD flat screen since newer TVs are so voltage sensitive. Both are good products. The upgrade version APC H15 (with AVR) is more in line with the PF 60. Under $200 for the PF60 is a great price for sure.[

I have the AP30800-10 UPS and 2 PF60's. The UPS is used for my DLP TV, DVR, Transport, DAC, HT Pre Amp, and and XBox 360. The PF60's are used for my amps, TT, and 2ch. Pre. My DAC is very sensitive to voltage and would actually cut out when my burner would kick on, the UPS fixed this problem. Plus the fact that if you have a DLP TV, you SHOULD be using some sort of battery back up for bulb life in case you have a power outage.
Since everything is getting moved to one rack soon, I'd like to eventually upgrade to the Hybrid UPS."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche -
Great price! I ws just there yesterday but didn't see that one. Maybe I'll have to go back and lock.

Great product...I have 3 now ( All silver...your black looks smoking ) and a buddy of mine has 3 as well. It's amazing to see the current draw of certain items you thought were low ( PS3 pulls the most for its little size ) ...and others who have a large swing ( 58" Panny Plasma uses 1 amp with a black screen and 6 amps with a white screen...bout 2 to 3 under normal viewing )
Got 2 of mine here http://www.ecost.com/Detail.aspx?edp=37503331 when they were running a 154 dollar each special going...the third one I got for around 200 delivered. They are sweet. The first rule of Fight Club is you don't talk about Fight Club -

Thanks FACE, I didn't check the battery backup devices. Those products would also provide Automatic Voltage Regulation. Appreciate the info.[ -
I grabbed one of these off of Amazon.com for $205 shipped a couple of weeks ago. I wonder if I could use that mail in rebate!"People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf." George Orwell

Will not hinder it in the least as long as you plug any high power amps into bank 06 labeled High CurrentThe first rule of Fight Club is you don't talk about Fight Club -

Be careful you dont let your tv run for any length longer then just to save the bulb with that UPS...it is an Offline model ( Runs off of the AC line until the AVR cannot accommodate ...then the battery kicks in ... and when it uses the battery it outputs a SIMULATED sine wave that looks more like a square wave when looked at on an O-Scope. ( When using AVR without resorting to the battery it resembles more of a stepped sine wave ...took one of the AVR Belkins to work and played with a Variac and an O-Scope
)
Those type of simulated sine waves are fine for PC's going through a much more sophisticated power supply , but most tv's dont take kindly to anything remotely looking square in nature.
The easiest way to tell if your tv's circuitry is affected by the simulated sine waves is to unplug the Belkin from the wall while viewing a bright colorful scene on the tv...in theory NOTHING should look different at all when you unplug the unit...the battery will kick in and support the load ( Your tv is a very easy load...its max on the Mit web site shows like 264 watts ) .
If it dims at all...loses color accuracy...or you notice anything detrimental to the picture quality...that unit shouldnt be used with your tv.
For my 58" Plasma ( It draws up to almost 700 watts on bright scenes ) I went with an Pure sine wave AVR UPS... http://www.cyberpowersystems.com/products/ups-systems/browse-by-category/smart-app-ups/pp-series/PR1500SWRM2U.html ...It cost quite a bit more but I can unplug the unit from the wall and even on calibration discs the picture is identical.
These are the 2 things you want to see in a UPS for a large screen TV
Pure Sinewave The UPS generates energy that is identical to or cleaner than the utility companys power grid. Benefits include: low total harmonic distortion, minimal electrical noise, optimal line clarity.
Full AVR Boost/Buck Boost/Buck topology will both increase low voltages and decrease high voltages, without switching to battery-mode. This not only conserves battery life, but also delivers a more stable signal to your connected equipment. The first rule of Fight Club is you don't talk about Fight Club -
I just picked another one up from Fry`s...
after the mail - in rebate, it came to 204 and change....
In Black of course !
Now I have a brand new one for the HT, and one still in the box (black for the 2ch ...when I get around to hookin it up..
I`m going back to Fry`s tomorrow for some other stuff...I asked the guy there if the Monster unit was better for SQ...he had no idea !!!Cary SLP-98L F1 DC Pre Amp (Jag Blue)

Face, do you have the black or silver model? If it's the black, does it have phone line jacks on the back panel? For some reason the manual for the silver shows the jacks but not for the black. -

No, I was wondering the same thing after I bought this unit.
It ONLY AVR's on the Battery Backed up outlets.

If you read the directions six times (i'll check the page when I get home from work where I found certain hints of this) you will get the feeling that the battery backed up outlets are the only ones that get AVR'ed.
