Accessory to connect to speaker wires!

What kind of accessory do I need to hook two speaker wires. I'm using 16 AWG Acoustic Research Speaker wire for my Polk Audio speakers. I like the idea of bi-wiring but they are very hard to get into the Banana plugs of my receiver.

I need some kind of interconnect so I can put two wires and then connect that into my receiver's banana plug.

Please tell me what its look like and where can I buy it.

Thanks for the help:)

I had the same problem before, and this kind of banana plug allows you to fit in two run of speaker cables, twisted the wire, and secure them thru the openings, and tighten the screw. It works for me, hope it helps...
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

    umm no
receivers don't have banana plugs but most except them. What you have is called binding posts, some receiver even have 5 way binding posts, but most do not.
Moster makes screw on banana plugs that will easily except the wire you own.
Radio shack also has nice banana ends for bi wire and any other wire configuration you wanna make.

Yep to the Radio Shack. In fact I was just putting some on a set of cables. I think I paid $5.99 for each set. They'll accept up to 10 AWG.

OK... and the holes in the amp's binding posts are so small that they cannot accept two 16 gauge ends twisted together???
