Question for MXStyle

Mx,

You mentioned in an earlier thread that you download music from Kazaa. After reading the thread I went looking around and downloaded a couple of songs. I then attempted to copy the files to cd and was unsuccessful. Kept getting a message that read something like "you cannot copy this file for whatever effin' reason" This may seem like a dumbass question, but is it possible to copy to cd?

    what r u using to copy with?
    u will need a program, if u have XP - use Windows Media Player. All i can say is...unless it is an out of this world file...it should be able to go on a disk that is playable.

    Another reason it might not of copied is u might of had something already on the cd...that could of been the problem

    Used a clean disk. I have Windows ME, but did not try to burn it through Media Player. I will give it a shot. I guess from your answer, it should not be a problem once I figure out where to make the tranfer.

    Copying to a cd is pretty easy, what program are u using? (or tried to use) if your cd player plays MP3's...u can just copy it from 'my computer'

    Yes, and thanks for your help. I overlooked an important detail about basic cd 101. Guess I shouldn't try to use brain after 16 hours at work.
