    One of mine has a couple of dimples but still sounds just fine to me. I cannot tell any difference in the one that has and the one that doesn't.

    A little dimple or nick and mark are fine,
    there is no difference the one that doesn't.

    Still better than the NEW replacement dome cloth SL3000.
