Thanks
Thats what Im using with my 360 right now...
But then again, its a console -- haha, cant expect to much...
What about Audio - for DVD's, do you need to use the 5.1 inputs or something else??
Thanks- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
for audio use a good quality digital cable.. i prefer coax. but you can get 5.1 using the analog connections too.. but a digi cable is much easier.. and it also frees up the analog inputs for SACD or some multi ch format. but i don't think that's your thing.
PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

Best video?
well from lowend to high-end:
RCA (yellow jacket) 250-300 lines
S-video 480 to 576 lines
Composite(three cables) can go upto 720p at least in theory 576 is probably the top
HDMI cable can go up to 1080p
As anything else video has the same limitations as sound you will get the best video ofthe lowest component in the chain.
so if your TV can only display 280 lines then don't mind having the best blue ray or HD player all you are going to get is 280 lines... and so on...
in video also the movie or video recording also plays a part on the weekest link of-cource.Current HT setup
