I thought Steve (Polk65) made a nice set of folders on Trey's laptop using photo's from everyone's camera. I know at least four of five cameras that we downloaded the memory sticks into Trey's laptop. All the photo's were resized and ready for a few comments. Has all of this work crashed?

If so, I'll up load again Russ. I just little guidance please.

Carl, they are safe and I will upload them shortly. A few of the resized photos are still huge and I'm manually resizing for those using dialup.

Dude you only took 3 pics.

Pretty lame if you ask me! ;)

Nah, they were all pretty huge, we (as in Steve, kudos to him) mass resized them to 800x600.

Steve (polk65) made the posibility of uploading roughly 400 pics to the site a possibility!

I hope you guys don't seriously plan on 400 pics. You can do it, but about 100 is what people have the patience to actually look at.

    Cheers,
    Russ

Guys, pm me for the login / pass and GET BUSY. You want pics, start f$#king posting them.

It's not rocket surgery, or something formal that needs to be thought out and laid out by one individual, it's not a Paramount major motion picture. It's food, drink, friends, and audio.

Give Steve a break, he does have a life other than the Polk forum - or DOES he? ;)

    Cheers,
    Russ

I seem to recall that it took at least a week (more than that, I believe) for the PF '06 pics to appear.

It was there last night but I don't see it now either. Maybe someone was updating it and forgot to close and get out of it. so it isn't showing up.

That would have been me. Note post #18 above where I punched in.

Over the past few years I thought the point was to upload, edit, write captions then set it public.

Being that there are many photographers, multiple angles, duplicates, resizing, captions to be done etcetera I thought it was a no brainer to set it to hidden until the work was done.

I'm still working on it and will log out when I'm done, as per your instructions Russ, and the PM i sent to you a few hours ago.
