I am looking for the RT 3000p tower speakers to complete my system. I have been putting this system together since the day I heard the Rt 5000 system.
I am looking for them in Rosewood but at this point I dont care as long as I can get my hands on them. I was also wondering should I just pass on the RT3000 and got the LSI?

    Timbre wouldn't match - stick with the tri-lam or the silk dome tweet. The Vifa has a different sonic signature.

    His Buy It Now price is for 50% more than the cost of the speakers if they were brand new. What an idiot.

    Even his beginning bid is too high. I've seen them most recently sell for $700 on ebay.

    hey brett i emailed the guy about the price that he had on his rt3000 on ebay, and he stated that his prices was quite fair since that was less than half of what he paid! I think that it is just like a car as soon as you drive it off the lot you lose at least 8-10 grand and then it depricates every year after that. Well anyways I am still looking, but thanks for all your help and everyone elses.

    I had emailed him as well and he said that he had paid $6000 for JUST the 3000's. At that price, he should have also gotten the FX1000's and the CSX1000p as part of the RT5000p package. He said that he didn't realize that he had gotten ripped off, but just becuase HE did, doesn't mean that others should be as well.

    IMO, these should be selling for right around $1500. Keep in mind thought that shipping will be a ****.......

    Yeah well he sound alot nicer in his reply to you. You are right at that cost he should have gotten the whole setup. If I had that kind of money and the knowledge that I have I would have definitely done so. I got the cs1000p and the fx1000 brand new for under 1000. That is what embarked me on this crusade of finding the rt3000p at the right price to complete the package. I want the best for the least amount of money. I also realize that shiiping for those bad boys is around 200 dollars.

    I bought them at at place in MO called Sound Design, but since I was an avid home theater setup man I worked for the owner when he needed help... so instead of a check he dropped the price. Great huh!? Now I am waiting to find the rt3000p for the right price, no luck yet!
