Not much to choose from when youre looking for a 700 watt Class D amp for $200 but this one is ok.

Its extreme entry level but itll work.

Spend as much as you can within reason. You get what you pay for.

That MTX is a very solid amp. Id rather use 800 watts on those subs, but 600 will work fine.

A little less than 700 watts RMS @ 2 ohms, I know, BUT...rated at 13.8 V rather than the usual 14.4V- there's no guarantee you'll get 14.4V at the amp in every vehicle without electrical enhancements.

What about Polk amps? How do they sound? I'm asking for the 4-channel and for the mono block. How does the 4-channel sound hooked up on a pair of db6501 and a pair of db690? And then how does the mono amp sound hooked up on some db212-2, but later on hooked up to 2 SR 12" DVC?

for that price range i highly recommend these. they are made by morel and are carbon copies of the famous morel elate components. i got a pair for my girls car after owning the morel elates and they sound exactly the same for a fraction of the price. great power handleing, great mid bass, and smooth highs. the best bang for the buck!!!

Are they better than polks componets speakers (seen some for around $200). Its just that when I hear car audio I think of brands like kicker, mtx, infinity and so on, I just want to know they are going to be reliable speakers when they start to get older.

Those brands you mentioned are good brands, but there are so many more brands out there that offer very high quality equipment. Take my speakers, they are made by Rainbow, a company that alot of people have not really heard of. I've had them for going on 2 years soon, and they still sound great. If they do develop an issue, they come with a five year manufacturer's warranty. This also shows how confident the company is in the longevity of their products.

Those speakers are made by Morel, they are very well known for producing very good compoents (not just good sounding, but overall high quality products).
