XRT12 Tuner Displays "No Signal"

I have a two year old XRT12 tuner that has been losing signal on a
sporadic basis for about two weeks. Now it has gone belly up and
the only thing I have on the screen is no signal. The XM signal is
good and I've "refreshed" the receiver to no effect. The antenna is
situated correctly and connections are tight. The verdict: either my
receiver or antenna are up for repair or replacement. Thanks for
your anticipated response.

I also had lots of signal loss on my way back from Chicagofest this weekend; I heard they are doing some kind of upgrade or putting out more satellites.....maybe they screwed up.

Did anyone check their XM signal? I've lost the terrestrial signal or it's not there anymore.

How's this for strange...my XM tuner on the patio worked fine, but my Polk tuner in the family room gave me "no signal" yesterday. I'll have to check it when I get home this evening.

That's because your patio XM tuner is receiving a Satellite signal, where your family room tuner is receiving the terrestrial signal only IMHO.

Now how does a terrestrial signal get to me, is still a mystery to me.

Mine are both working also. Niether of my tuners receive terrestrial signals, thats what made it strange.

What I read was XM-3 Satellite had lost it's mind, they had to do a complete restart. It may have been also spinning in orbit if I understood correctly. XM-3 feeds the eastern half of the US and all of the Terrestrial feed repeater stations.

I don't know but it sounds to me they placed all of their eggs in one basket. Just my $.02
