The kid's receiver we scored of the bay arrived today.

That made me happy.

Vintage Rotel power and performance. I cleaned it up and it looked beautiful. Old-school aluminum front, real knobs with heft and resistance, sleek and simple. Then I remembered the 5jr's I've been enjoying in the basement would now go to their proper home in her room.

That made me sad.

Then I remembered the 7b's I nabbed last week which are supposedly in great shape!

That made me happy.

They're not here yet.......sad.

I put the R20's back in their place.....they're just not the same.....sadder.

Went into the kids room to rock out.....happy! And she is too. All is good!

Excuse the goofy post but I had to vent :p

Audio is weird and you never know when the good stuff begins.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

No kids yet, but if my sad days are like that, I'll be effing happy!

Which doesn't make a damn bit of sense, but I think you get the point!
