Should I run my amp thru the carwash?

I just got a Rane MA-6, a six channel pro amp that weighs about 8,000 lbs. It was in a bar for I guess most of its life. The seller had removed the filter from the fan and said it just fell apart.

I plugged it in, the fan came on, and jeezuss, what a stench. What is the best way to clean this Philips Morris special? It's probably got nicotine gummed up all over the innards. I'd like to just dip it in a barrel of DeOxit.

Also, where can you get new filter material?

Does that come in a can? Do you just soak it in that stuff and then let it run off? Does it eat insulation?

    It comes in plastic bottles.
    It is electronically safe.
Pore it on to a cloth then wipe.
