need sub and amp that really pounds

Hey. I'm lookin for an amp and sub(s) to put in my car. I got a new head unit and my speakers are still factory but they are fine. I just need lots of bass. I wanna make old ladies get mad at me. Lol.

Please tell me if the stuff i have linked here would be good. I have done some lookin online but I'm not too familiar with the whole car stereo scene. Also post stuff that i could get that would really rattle the earth. (i would get that MTX jackhammer but ugh, I'm not rich! lol)

If someone could also tell me an amp that i should use with any of these please do. I am probably only gonna buy one sub if its one of those $300+ ones. If the sub is like 150-250 i could possibly get 2 but i really want one quality sub that will really shake my car. I need to get an amp that would get me the best results from w/e sub i buy. If someone could tell me an ideal amp and sub combo i would be greatful, and from there i will see what i can do money-wise.

I would highly recommend Soundsplinter subwoofers. If it were not for space constraints I would be running their RL-p12 right now.

Any of them will be a good choice for you especially if you are going to go with two of them. FWIW I run one Orion H2 12" sub and it provides plenty of bass in a vented enclosure for my needs. Here is a link to a seller that has two brand new H2 15" subs that fit in your budget of 250.00 each. I can assure you that two of these matched with a powerful amp will provide plenty of nauseating bass for you

The Kicker L7 is the best sub of the ones youve listed.

It will be plenty loud and still sound good assuming its installed and powered properly.

If you want loud go with the L7, if you want loud and clean go with the Soundsplinter RL-p.

yo if you see this...i saw in another post you mentioned about the sound splinter RL-p 12" and i saw on their site that there is a choice between the D4 and the D2..whats the difference between these? i figure it cant be much if they are the same price

I'm with brett on this one. All I see you ever do is complain when nobody responds to your post or thread. Usually you're whining within an hour or two, acting like it's a chatroom. It's a forum so it actually takes time to get responses. Get used to it.

Sorry, I need loud, I can't help you much with the car audio side of things but I wanted to comment on little the little 'gangsta' here mouthing off all the time.

I just started getting into Polk Audio gear. So far its been good to me but I'm only runnin Momo 5-1/2 components with the C300.2 amplifier. I've been an Alpine fan forever and they have a good lineup on subs with digital amps. Check out their website or look for some Type X woofers and PSX amplifiers by Alpine in your search menu.

i love polk subs i was sceard to order the first one but after i got it i got 2 more now i have 3 polk 15's 2 hooked up and they pound so hard on what lil watts i give them about 100 each i cant wait to get them a mono 310 rms amp each next week or maybe the week after or somthing maybe i need a car first:rolleyes: or a job anybody wanna hire me? i will work for audio:D
