From my own collection, excellent working condition, very clean cosmetically. Full function 2ch pre, or use as a phono-pre only in your existing rig.

Inputs:
DAD
Tape 1
Tape 2
AUX
Tuner
Phono

Supports both MM and MC carts. Subsonic (<15Hz) filter.

Pic to come tonight, $50 + Ups (probably $8-$10).

Cheers,
Russ

Yes Russ, 'motivational' cassette for the Mrs and me. My mom insisted I listen to it. WTF man, its not like I bought some Bose 301's or anything. I figure it can't hurt to give it a listen. ;)

    Cheers,
    Russ

Oh well, I guess it's off to the masses next week via ebay.

If anyone has a good plight (500 words or less), and thinks I should just *give* it to them, email me.

I take it you meant to post that under the 'bookshelf speaker wanted' post?

Thanks, you might get close to that on ebay, great little speakers, but were only $300 new to start. I didn't know they had a 'red ash', mine are maple.

Would a "Gimme. I want it now." Typed 100 times count. Hold on to it 'til after Christmas. After that everybody; including myself, will have a better idea of what they want and/or need.

Example: I'm sure this thing has less noise than my Dynaco(which has a phono-pre), but more than my AMC (which has no phono-pre). Somebody might want to sell their Dynaco to offset the price and WAF, and are reluctant to rid themselves of such a fine piece of audio Americana.

    Russ,

If I had any idea about what to do with it and it wasn't christmas time I would buy it. I guess just bad timing right now for everyone.

Wish I had the funds, I need a good pre for my b&o turntable so that I can dub all my albums to mp3. I used to be a d.j. at a local nightclub and have a ton of music to copy. I guess after that I would use it in the master bedroom for a two channel rig along with my tube amp, but again funds are an issue, had to put the kiddies christmas wants before mine.;)

Hafler DH101, mfg from 1977-1982 and originally sold for $450. It was available in kit form, or factory assembled. It was designed by David Hafler (founded Dynaco in the 50's) to be a no frills, high performance pre-amp to compete with the McIntosh, Marantz, and Phase Linear models of that time period.

2 phono inputs, 2 tape inputs, 1 aux input, 1 tuner input. Tone defeat switch.

    Cheers,
    Russ
