Hello All! Since I don't know how to put a signature on my user profile posting a pic to the system(s) thought I'd let y'all know that I finally got some pics taken. Kind of phsyc'd about it since I've wanted to do this for a while now!

Dig the antique look, if that makes any sense. Nice and clean.

Looks great ... You might want think about bringing the speakers forward a little so the drivers extend beyond the front of the Armoire ...

Try it that way even if WAF ( I can see it's already in play ) kicks in and they must go back again ...

    Thanks for the kind words!

The only thing I've done to the speakers was with the 8t's. I pulled the square wood bottoms off and installed spikes directly to the cabinet. Probably the best thing I could have done. Noticeable improvement right away. 'Course, they all come with spikes now, most anyway. I do have the fronts of the speakers "up" a little since the spikes are adjustable.

As for bringing the speakers forward I agree totally! I did try that at our other house (on mid 1920's hardwood maple floors, beautiful) and while it worked well, they seemed to always be in the way, the wrong way if you know what I mean. The WAF was way down. This was the least of the worries however. The kids were bumping into them some of the time. They never did anything to the speakers but it was enough to make me nervous! Now that they're a few years older the "bumps" get bigger so the speakers are a little "safer" put back.

My wife likes the cherry wood furniture and it grew on me. Man, I'm starting to feel old...
