I came across a Boston Acoustics VR12 3 way center in mint condition. I may still keep the cs400, but having a full range center is nice.

    3.1tl front main
    3.1tl rear
    CS400 center
    300i side surround
    CRS back surround
    Denon 7.1 receiver
2 NAD amps to juice the 3.1tl
    2 subs

Just because I'm not all that familiar with the VR12, but what makes it a full range center as compared to the 400 that you're wanting to sell?

The VR12 has (2) 6.5 woofers, 1 4.5 mid and a 1 inch tweeter. I am just testing it out but so far it is great. Surprisingly is blends well with my other speakers. The reviews on this center from audio sites and current & past users are excellent.

Does it sound that much better than the cs400? I would think the cs400 would blend a lot better to your existing polk speakers. good luck though and i hope it works out for you

Another SDA Polk fan was using one and the match was great. That is where I got the idea. I would never make the change if it was not seemless.
