    Hi Wing,
How is that Earthquake holdin up? I found a used 3 channel in silver and was thinking about getting it. I think they wanted $1000 for it. Have you found any good deals before you bought yours? I am in Ft. Lauderdale, not far from ya. Thanks

    nice. very nice, Darla!

I would have those doors open when the system is on, though. Especially when the 360 going on too.

Did I mention that the setup is very nice? again? :)

two SVS? wow. hope the room plaster is holding up..:) j/k
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

    Darla, marry me...please! :D

Effing sweet setup! Beautiful job! Amazing how the sound panels blend right in. They look like some artsy fartsy type of artwork or something along those lines.

2 SVS subs...i'm so turned on right now...
    No excuses!

Thanks so much guys. I worked so hard on it and I loved every minute of it. The 2 SVS just balance every thing out really nicely....including visual symmetry which is important for me as an amateur interior designer :) .

Here is a Von close up. I wil add it to my HT pics - thanks for pointing that out ND13.

And John, I know that if I were to marry you that would really stress out my relationship here at home:D but thanks so much. I like the Real Traps as a kind of functional, sculptural artsy fartsy thing too.

    Darla,
It was my crappy monitor at work. After I got to the home puter, the pics were much clearer.:p Once again, you've done yourself proud.....outstanding!!! Like Mike said, tastefully done.

    Darla,

I absolutely love your components and speakers. We need some close-ups of your system pieces. Nice job on your room.

Following are just comments not criticisms. Lord knows when I open my mouth I just get myself in trouble. hehe.

That room is screaming for a projector and screen. Why did you not go that direction? Just for the "WOW" factor of a 100" screen would of caused me to never leave that room.

Though you did an excellent job of mounting the Real Traps, I am not as thrilled about the ones on the side walls. For the square ones below the Batman poster did you try placing them in a diamond configuration (i.e. top corner pointing up) instead of just square? That would give them more of an art look rather than an empty frame look. If that does not work then possibly some sheer cloth stretched over them.

BTW... did you get any frequency measurements of your room before and after the Real Traps? I would love to see the difference it made in the presentation of sound. With your hard floors and smooth roof, I bet it made a very nice change in the presentation.

Once again, excellent job. Like I said in one of your posts months ago, I just love hearing how excited you get describing each of your upgrades. :) I am just drooling for more pictures of the cabinet fillers. :)

Thanks Holydoc. I will get some more gear close ups.
As far as a projector goes..that might be an option down the road but that room is actually the lightest in the house. I have a set of french doors and two rows of windows on the left side wall as well as the other opening on the right to the rest of the house so light might be an issue.

I did briefly consider diamond shape but I needed to make sure that I had the most absorption I could get at the tweeter height of my Vons and hanging them that way would have cost me a little coverage there as you can see that I am limited on how high I can hang them due to the window on the left.(for symmetry) Also , I kind of have a square theme going on and I think continuing the square shape helps with the flow until you get to the softer, rounder elements of the couch. If I had more wall to work with I would have done a combo diamond/square thingie.
