    Apparently, it sounded like crap. Here's a review. Four years after that review and still no official remix of the DVD-A.

    I am thinking Esoteric, Ayre or Meridian or Macintosh right now, have not heard any of them, had a Denon 2900 which was quite good with high rez in general, the use of IC's with audio and video signals in universal's worry me. Anybody have experience with any of these? I really want something that will default to two channel without the use of a dvd/tv menu, the Denon did that which was excellent, I just dont want a monitor in the shed.
