I hate cologne!!!!

No offense to fans of cologne. But for some reason, I can't use them. I've tried many and didn't like them on me. Usually, I find them too strong and the scent on some of them will make me nauseous within the first 30min to 1hr.

I found baby cologne and I was finally happy. Very good smell without the sting of the others I've tried. Hell, even girls comment on it's good smell. lol.

Well, when I thought my search was over, I found something I like even better. My boss' sister in law gave me a bottle of "Warm Vanilla Sugar" body splash. This thing kicks serious ****. It has a very warm smell that I just love.

Call me weak, baby or whatever you want. I love my warm vanilla sugar smell:p.

    Actually, there is an art (or should be) to using cologne or perfume.

    Too often, cologne/perfume is used as a body wash.
    A "spritz" is usually more than adequate.
    A "splash" is just about always too much, IMO.

    Vanilla is good. In the old days, women would use vanilla extract, one DAB behind each ear. Smell good on the cheap.

    LOL. Isn't it unisex? I've seen body mists with the same scent that was unisex but made by a different company.

    I can't stand over powering perfumes that many women wear. I do like subtle and natural smells. So I'd probably like the vanilla scent.

    Cologne's are definitely something you have to research to find what one's you like. Some of the one's that I've found that I like:

    Cerruti Image
    Issey Miyakke
    Jean Paul Gaultier (Le Male)

    Just go to your local retailer and check a few out at a time and don't go home with them just sprayed on cards. Have 3-4 sprayed on different parts of your arm or whatever to see how they work wtih your Ph.....

    I don't wear cologne for me. If a girlfriend or something likes a particular kind I'll wear it. Like, I love it when women wear that country apple stuff from Bath & Body Works. That stuff smells amazing.
