I'm kind of with Demi, I rarely wear cologne except on "request", and even then it has to be subtle or I just get a headache. Guys who walk by witha cloud like Pigpen following them need to be put to sleep. I smelled a guy's cologne from ACROSS A CITY STREET the other day. Seriously, how do you think that's good?

Same with women... as natural as reasonable is good by me.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

    FWIW,

I can't stand the smell of those body shop, bath n body works stuff. Well ok I can if you are 18 and under. My wife did wear white musk for a long time. Without trying to insult her I said "don't you think it's time to wear something more mature" Well now she has 3 different types of Eau de Parfum she wears.

I agree with Brett. You have to try many types as they will all react differently to each person.

    For me, I lightly wear:
Armani ( the oringinal one )
Creed Silver Mountain (my fav. just very expensive and I can't buy it here)
    Nautica

Organ if you like the smell of sweet plus cigar, check out Dolce and Gabbana I did try wearing one didn't work for me. I can't remember the name.

As far as metro goes, I am as metro as can be and not ashamed of it what so ever.

Seriously though, Avon makes a mens cologne I've worn for 15 years; it's called "Black Suede". I like it, it's very subtle.

I don't think you should buy somthing that someone else loves the smell. I think it's part of an individual. Scents can say lots about people.

Can't disagree more. For me, it is very satisfying to have my lady wear cologne that is pleasing to me. In response I do the same for her. Heck she even drags me to stores to help her pick out her goodies.

By placing her desires above mine, I do not have to worry about having my desires fulfilled.

I think willow's point (correct me if I'm wrong) is that just because cologne X smells good in the bottle, doesn't mean it will mesh well with your body chemistry.

Your job, single or not, (if you're into colognes) is to find something that meshes well with your chemistry and if that comes with external help (bf or gf), great.

I wear Aqua Velva because Pete Rose does!

There are some purfumes that women wear that drive me crazy. Enough to spurt serious wood with just one little scent. Too much is a real turn off, but I little of the right stuff is goooooooooood!

LMFAO:D. OK, guys. Thanks for the suggestions. I will give cologne another chance. I'll get those sample cards next time I shop. But if I still can't find one that I like, I'm staying with my current body splash.

This is funny. We were at work and she sprayed some on herself. I was like, holy ****, that smells killer. I asked for a spray and told her I really like the smell. I told her how I can't stand cologne and stuff. Then she gave me the bottle. Cool, eh? LOL. And no, I don't stink! That's not why she gave it to me.

Don't bother with the cards......you have to have the sample sprayed on you........period. Everyone alters the scent slightly so just put some on different parts of your arm and walk around for 20-30 minutes to see if ya like it.

Or ask for a sample bottle, usually good enough for a couple days.
