RM6900 Subwoofer very hot

Hello:

I have just purchased a RM6900 system. Thje subwoofer, even if the power swich is in the off position, the side where the conections are is VERY hot. I can not put my hand there for more of a few second. Is this normal?

    Hello,
    Thanks for posting on the Forum. No, that is not normal, the amplifier can be warm but should never be too hot to touch. You would definitely want to return the system for an exchange. If that is not possible telephone us at 1-800-377-7655 as we can help exchange the amplifier.
