TX-DS494 Question???

Can anyone tell me if the signal on the SUB OUT is filtered or unfiltered. The manual does not specify, and I don't want to wade through the robot menu on the Oink CS line. Secondly, are any of you running your sub through the speaker level inputs/outputs, and is this preferable sound wise to using the LFE input?? Thank's! :D

I have owned this reciver and had to call Onkyo CS to get this info. According to the their customer service SUB OUT is filetered at 80Hz on this reciever.

Only use speaker level connections if you mains are not capable of palying down to 80Hz, otherwise LFE connection is better.
