I think this is very sharp model that Polk made. I really love it and

Thanks for the info. For that price I could have a nice pair of lightly-used SDA 1C's, or for a couple of bills more, a pair of 3.1TL's.;)Proud and loyal citizen of the Digital Domain and Solid State Country!

When I saw the pic Har posted, I thought I remembered these as being a ported speaked design, but I saw no port in the front. I dug up an old brochure and the big ole', vulgar, gaping, port is in the rear.
Just in case some of you sealed box enthusiasts are considering acquiring these based on the pics above.;)Proud and loyal citizen of the Digital Domain and Solid State Country! -

phenominal speakers, i have had mine for 8 years, but if he paid 1600 for em he pain way too much, not sure if they are worth 600 used, but they are grea speakers, i have the rosewood's my self, by far the best finish

They sound great but I wouldn't trade a pair of 1C's for them. Well, maybe if I didn't want SDA. I don't know how they compare to the RT line.

One of my friends sold his LS 90's and bought a pair of 1C's.Proud and loyal citizen of the Digital Domain and Solid State Country!

The LS90's are nice if you don't want the SDA though. My friend has two of the 90's and two of the 70's. They sound very refined. It is my opinion that they are the first decent speakers polk made after the SDA series and before the RT55's and such. I forget the ones in between. The LS 70's and 90's kinda drew me back to polk.
