I just got done filling 3 prescriptions for one elderly man. They probably cost around $400 (just so he can breath properly). Fortunatly, his drugs are covered by the state of Washington. Didn't cost him a dime. He reeked of tobacco though, and the smell kind of lingered. Anyways, just made me think how expensive prescription drugs are. And this was only his breathing meds, not including the other stuff he regularly gets.

Oh man, diabetes is another one. Get diagnosed, you can plan on getting, at a minimum four new medications to take every day, likely more.

Without insurance, my Imitrex 6mg injections cost $150 for TWO doses. Now that's what I call RIDICULOUS!!!!! Of course there's no generic that I know of either. For those that don't know, it's for migraines.
