My Setup:
C-5 Dual-Zone Carver Preamp.
Tfm-15 Carver High-Current/High-Voltage Power Amp.
TLM-3600 10-CD Compact Disc Changer
CDP-CE545 Sony CD Changer
MDS-JB940 Sony Mini Disc
RT55 Biwired Polk
Just Stereo. Nice and real Stereo.
It's not the music
it's the sound.

the rt55i's are a refined version of the rt55's.The tweeter and crossover where slightly modified to remove the edgey sound from the orignals. The entire i series was geared this way.The drivers got a new color, but no change in the 6 1/2.The 5 1/4 driver found in other rti's got reworked/tweaked as I understand it.
I own the rt1000p's and I upgraded the tweeters and crossovers to i series and it made a sonic difference in the mid to high rolloff.I perfer the sound of the i series over the orignal.Dan

I believe I have 55's... If I would buy parts for an upgrade, is there a list?
I'll do the best I can at a review.***WAREMTAE*** -
One last thing. The "i" series have real wood finish.
