I am looking at buying a great used C300.2 from a buddy at work,it is in perfect condition, it has the original box, testing cert., packaging, and users manual. The only problem is it a 2 channel. :( I am looking for the 4 channel amp to run front and rear speakers. I already have 2 500.1s for the subs, just need 4 outputs for the full ranges. Anyone out there can help me with this?

You may want to point out how much money you are willing to add.

Search Ebay; should be plenty there. Just check feedbacks.

Looking to keep all the amps Polk Audio, I thought about putting it on Ebay, and buying the 4 channel outright. Hmmm , just thought I would see if anyone had anything out there available.

Seeing as the 300.2 is only $200 new I doubt anyone would trade you a 400.4 straight up but hey you never know. :)

Good choice on keeping all polk amps.. I love mine. I run c300.2 for the front and another c300.2 on thre rear high's and a c500.1 on 2 10's.. If you sell the c300.2 let me know how much they are'nt that much on ebay. There is a few c400.4 on right now or just buy another c300.2 save time and agrevation but like mI said if the price is right I might get it for my Big truck kenworth system..

How do your fronts sound with that much juice on them? The 6500's are what I'm putting up front also. They don't overpower the rears and sub? How hard do your 10s hit with the 500 on them?

The 300.2 puts out 165 x 2 (rms) if Im not mistaken. Your mmc6500 take 125 RMS so you are wasting a lot of power. All you do is turn the gains down on the AMP itself. Also, nothing is gonna overpower subs. ;)

uhh... the mmc6500 can take a ton of power - easily over 125 - if they're crossed over high enough, and subs are actually really easy to overpower...

my system sounds crisp clear and pretty damn potent. I keep my gains at 12'o clock on the high's and 1 'o clock on the mono amp.. works excellent for me.. my mmc6500 take the power so does the mm690's. Did tune it in correctly .

Ok so 125rms means it can take more?
...and referring to the sub comment: Im assuming he was talking about the fronts overpowering the subs....as in drowning em out. At least thats the way I took it.

while i'm not interested in buying or trading... i'll try to help you out price wise here...

to me... a 300.2 (good used condition) plus 50 bucks would equal a 400.4 (good used condition).

    that's just my opinion though.
