I have been thinking of selling this crossover. It has been used only once (about 3 months) and is in pristine, as new condition. I bought it from a Club Polk member who never installed it. It arrived to me in the original box (still have it and the manual) with the price tag reading $249.99. I ran it with two and three amp configurations. It sounds great. My deck doesnt have a fader control so I wasnt able to get the sound perfect in the front seat, it sounded better sitting in the rear. I am just spoiled by my SRS 2`s.

This sounds like the one I sold to Justin. I bought it brand new and never installed it. Never had a car quiet enough to hear a decent stereo.
The SDA ACM is a passive crossover unit that uses up to 3 amps for an SDA effect. Actually, only up to two amps are used for SDA, the third is for subwoofers. It uses the front two speakers for stereo, the rear speakers are dimensional. As coupedeville states, front to rear fader control is very important, as per the manual.
As far as home speaker potential, ???

Stubby and Russ...the fellow sda junkies I have done business with before. This crossover is a neat toy to tinker with but I am tinkered out. I would install it in my wifes BMW where it would have a better chance of creating a 3-D sound image ( it just doesnt quite work in my cherokee) but I`m scared. The price will be double for Russman, ha ha. Does anybody want this thing? I hate to throw it on ebay without giving club polkers first shot.

The SDA-ACM is a nice unit. I had one in a car that was stollen but while I had it, it sounded great. I since have found and bought 2. One is damaged though. Will Polk repair these?

I can only use one anyway. My wife has a Maxima with a Bose system that she will not let me touch.

I would think these were made by Polk. The unit is four pounds and heavy duty! Real glass epoxy circuit board, etc. The quality is obvious inside and out.

I`m glad to hear of someone else who has used one of these units.
