    Here our some choices :

    In DR

    La Romana

    Santana Beach resort and casino
    or
    Hamaca Coral Hilton

    In Margarita

    Hesperia Isla

    My question is , I did reviews of all of these places some say the places suck big time and would never go back again and some say it was the best times.

    Not sure what to believe and think. It seems easier to buyaudio gear :confused:

    Never been to those places in DR; I've been to Punta Cana, in the resort I linked a few posts back...no complaints at all!!!

    I've seen that place in Margarita; it looks like a Palace; at the time it was owned by a different chain, but I've heard good things about this Hesteria chain. This place is located in the north side of the island; it's a bit quiet, but with beautiful beaches. You can always go south to the main city (Porlamar) a couple of nights if you want more "noise"....

    Looks like my wife has her mind set to Punta Cana.
    Now to find a resort.

    I did check your link, just trying to find a carrier from Ottawa.

    Good choice......I'm sure you'll find something, and there are other resorts as good as the Barcelo in the area...I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

    hmmmm.....Punta Cana in January...when we have those nasty temperatures around here......I think I am learning what envy is... :):)

    Thanks, she is so excited, like a kid in a candystore. Don't get me wrong I am happy as well. Now we play the waiting game....
