I heard putting a ribbon sideways like that wouldnt fly too well. was meant to be vertical, hence sound quality, or probably the imaging, would be off. not that i would know for certain
I'll stick with my Polk's in the theater and my Carver's for 2 channel.

You can throw a ribbon sideways. Looks neat, he's proud of it, that's for sure.

I don't know that it would sound bad. There is one channel of info, so it should work like any other center. Dispersion should be pretty wide.
That being said, it's nice but I'm not in the market. I'll stick w/ the 2 channel, and leave the Polks for my HT.
Is a little pricey, huh?
