Karma: Kodak KAA2HR digital camera battery

Up for karma today is a Kodak KAA2HR battery. It's a "AA" style pack, but keyed so that it'll only fit in a Kodak camera. It came with my docking station that I bought with my new DX7590 camera. However, the camera already has a rechargeable battery in it, and it's a Li-Ion pack, so the "AA" pack won't even fit.

Anyway, that's why it's up for grabs. No rules, you just have to have a camera that uses this kind of battery (no winning the karma just to sell on ebay! Not accusing any forum regulars, but since this is open to everyone, I don't want some newb on here stealing it out from under everyone to make a profit. I don't care if newbs win it, and actually use it for personal use).

Pics may be posted later, maybe not. Depends on if I feel like it. If you want to see it, search the model on eBay, there's tons of them.

This is a genuine Kodak battery, brand new and has never been charged.

karma ends Monday at 4pm ET. I'll ship it out when I get to it. I've been busy lately, and karma's are not the first priority :)
Ludicrous gibs!

Kinda seems weird to me to ban someone from selling. Basing that thought solely on the idea that probably very very few people here actually have a Kodak camera, and so very very few here could actually use this. Hmm. Maybe you're just assuming only people who can use it will enter the karma.

Now that I think about it, it makes more sense. Just forget this post, then. :D

EDIT Oh, and I'm not in. As I dont' have a Kodak camera. So, I just proved my latter train of thought. lol

Well, my thought was that I have no idea how many forum users have a Kodak camera. They're a fairly large name in cameras (or at least they were, but they still produce a good product), so chances are, SOMEONE on the forum has one. Either way, I was just looking to get rid of this battery. If noone here wants it, i'll probably throw it up on the 'bay and get a few bucks for it. But you people have until Monday at 4pm et to make up your mind.

I think it's a real cool karma, as those damn batteries can get a little salty. But alas, I own a Fuji. But you are very correct in that the Kodaks are very popular and I'd have to bet that there are more than a few members that own one.
