I have a pair of RTA 15tl's in Oak, I received them damaged, go here for pictures

I was going to try and fix them but have not, and have lost interest.

Does anyone want these for cheap? the drivers alone are worth over 500.00.

Let me know via email as I get lazy checking in here.

I wish I lived closer to you. I am in DC. I have a pair and they are absolutely incredible speakers. If you end up parting them out, I would love to get one of the logos off the grill. Polk doesn't have them anymore and I am missing one. Good luck and let me know what you do with them. Thanks, Jeff

Would you be willing to part them out? I could use the tweeters to replace the ones in mine... Steve.

    Hoosier,

Why don't you post the price?
Others might be interested. (I can't believe I'm saying this).

    Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let it be known that I am very happy with the rta 15,s that I recently puchased from hoosier, They have been a huge improvment over the rt 10's that I used to a have and a pretty comparable sound to the sda srs I used to have even though they don't have the sda feature. I just wish that I had a receiver with a little more power than 80 watts per. I have already begun the task of repairing the damaged oak on the corners and feel that it will be very hard to tell that there was ever any damage there. I hope my nieghbors don't get to peeved about the listening sessions at a pretty decent tilt. :) Thanks again for taking care of me on this russ a. I really appreciate everything including the great speaks.

    chat to all later,
    Mike

Woodshaw, I bought mine used at an audio shop in Virginia. I paid $400.00. They are in perfect shape, except for the missing logo. I was using the highly regarded RTA11's for my fronts that I purchased for $1000.00 in 1988. I thought they sounded great. The 15's blow them away. The imaging is incredible. They cover the low,mid and highs with great detail. I haven't heard a pair of new speakers for less than $1000.00 that I would trade mine for. They do not have a ton of base, but I have a Sunfire sub to handle the lows. I don't use the sub for stereo music and the 15's have enough bass for me. If you like RAP then the passive sub might not be enough for you. Replacing all four drivers and the tweeter will be expensive, and last I heard Polk was out of the 3000 tweeter.
How much can you get the pair for? Where are you located?
BTW, you email address is not working. You can email me at Warlocks1@AOL.com is you have further question.
