On May 3, Sony will release the soundtrack to Star Wars Episode III - Revenge of the Sith which will include a 70 minute DVD containing 16 music videos by multiple Oscar winner John Williams. The music videos will be a chronological tour of all 6 films and include respective footage as well as sound effects and dialogue in 5.1 Surround Sound from the films of the Star Wars saga. Each segment will be introduced by actor Ian McDiarmid who portrays Senator Palpatine. Rounding out the package are liner notes by creator/producer/writer/director George Lucas and a bonus poster.
Found this over at the HTF.

From what I've heard most of the music videos are from the original trilogy.If...

I hate Lucas AND these movies. But this CD I'll buy because I enjoy the music for the most part...John Williams is a good composer and I like most of his stuff...Originally posted by Toxis

As far as I'm concerned Lucas is OK. He has been extremely successful....So what? Isn't that the American dream? Don't like THX....no one is forced to buy THX stuff. I know folks don't like how he handles/markets/changes "HIS" movies. They are still his property to do with as he pleases. I also have to give him props for THX 1138, American Graffiti, Body Heat (became a Kathleen Turner fan after that one!). Lots of Lucas bashers out there. I'm not one of them.Originally posted by Toxis

Pretty good dvd. I watched it last night and enjoyed it. The original trilogy stuff was great.
It's an improvement watching the new trilogy set to music with very little talking.If...
