So my setup right now is Polk Monitor 5's with an Adcom GFA-5400 with a GTP-602 pre-amp and a Wiim Pro plus. I also have a pair of Polk SRS+ speakers that may be hooked up to this at a later date. Thought about picking up a Emotiva BasX PT-100 that is local to me. I have a Adcom GTP-500II that won't power up that I might do a partial trade with for the Emotiva. Or if it's a better per-amp see if he wants to accept the GTP-602 in trade for the Emotiva. Thoughts?

Adcom amp? Stick with that Adcom pre. That would be my thought anyhow. Have fun!

Are you not happy with that GTP-602? Most of those Adcom pre amp with tuners are all over ebay. I paired a Vincent SA-T1 with a refurbished GFA 555II and it was a good match. I would look for something else besides that Emotiva if you are looking to replace your current Pre Amp. How much are you willing to invest?Home Theater
