I don't know why we haven't had a what are you currently watching thread. We have what are you listening to? What are you Cooking? Several others. I think the theater experience is just as enjoyable as 2-ch audio. I spend as much time watch movies/series, as I do listening to music. What do you all think? This isn't meant to be an episode by episode account, but in general...like
I'm really enjoying the original Twin Peaks series right now.

BTW, this is what I am actually watching this weekend.

Discussion about shows, movies, and/or recommendations is invited. Please keep disagreements out. We all like different things.
And please, no spoilers!

BTW, Plex is awesome. Emby, and Jellyfin are given a participation award.

I'm determined to get more Homelab discussion mixed in... -
I had started latest Netflix find in another section but it got lost. Also now it's not just Netflix anymore.

Looking forward to the return of The Lowdown, Tulsa King and The Diplomat. Also looking forward (for a change) to the next Giants game
Yep, my name really is Bob.

I liked the Lowdown. My friend LOVES it. I'll check out S2. The Diplomat is on my queue, but haven't watched any yet. I am only a part time Netflix watcher. I get free accounts occasionally from Roku Beta testing so I binge it when I have that option. Just finished S2 of The Gentlemen last week.

Both great shows. -
Tulsa king was a bit of a letdown for me. Sly's daughter has a small part and good thing, good looking but not much of an actor.
Just saw 1st episode of Crystal Lake. Not your every day mystery.Yep, my name really is Bob.

I actually watched this over the weekend. Not great critical reviews, but the audience Popcorn meter is greater than 90%. It's a bit over the top on action (and somewhat unbelievable), but it is a very fun ride.
I somehow missed this movie when it came out 4 years ago. This was done by the same Russo Brothers team that are behind four MCU movies including Avengers: Infinity Wars and Avengers:Endgame. Their next Avengers:Doomsday movie coming in November should be one of the biggest this year.

Is this the one that is kind of a spin-off from 'Friday the 13th' (i.e., Jason)?Just saw 1st episode of Crystal Lake. Not your every day mystery.
Dark Matter is very interesting, but gets a bit confusing towards the end of season one/beginning of season two.agingboomer wrote: »Slow Horses

Silo is like that as well - starts good, but then gets bogged down a bit.
Slow Horses is really good.
The Diplomat is very interesting and well done. We watched the new season last week.
For All Mankind was good.
Have enjoyed Landman.
For something lighter, Nobody Wants This is entertaining.
Severance
Widow's Bay
Foundation
Yellowjackets
Fallout
Ted Lasso
House of Guinness
So many...too many to list from even the last year or so.

Regarding collectibles: "It's not who gets it. It's who gets stuck with it." - Jimmy Fallon -
Jody, this is supposed to be one show per post. Man, are you trying to overload us?

BTW, I agree on all your list. I've watched most except beyond S2 of Yellowjackets, Landman (no Paramount+), and the Diplomat is in my queue (went a long time without Netflix and still catching up).

Yea, plenty of gruesome killings between Jason and his mom.
Started YAGA...has some potential to be a good series.Yep, my name really is Bob.

I only watch reality TV........

-
That would be a sporting event, which does not equal Reality TV. Please don't pollute this thread. You already have your World Series thread to get exited about things by yourself.
On to what I am watching... I just started this tonight. I've heard many good things about it.
-
I thought it was a discussion of what everyone was watching on TV at the time, not restricted to a certain format such as fictional TV-MA dramas that feature "Violence, nudity, language, gore, and smoking".
As requested I won't participate in your thread. Sorry for "polluting" it.

I'm sure as a long time forum user, you understand the discouragememnt of double postings, ie: the posting the same statement or question in multiple threads fishing for reactions.
I'm starting to see why so many members had a problem with you under your previous profile.

How was that a duplicate post? That was a picture of Game #4 in real time taken from my TV screen. It was what I was watching on screen.
I think in the future you will need to be more specific when you start threads with titles like "What are you watching on screen" if you don't want people to post what they are watching on screen and you really mean something else.
I don't appreciate the personal attack either. That kind of stuff belongs on your other forum. Try to keep it civil.
I encourage everyone to post in any thread I start but in the future I will refrain from posting in any that you start. I don't want to upset you. -
TV screen? Movie screen? Phone screen? Tablet screen?

Also: Budget CD players can only be USED, not NEW. -

I am being perfectly civil. Quit being coy. You started a thread for this World Series, so that's where posts about the current World Series should go. How would you feel if I jumped in that thread and started spamming it with Joke Memes, or posts about Football games? -
Me and the missus have been watching Crystal Lake and looking forward to some more Tulsa King.Home Theater

Been watching Apple TV lately. Just finished the latest season of Slow Horses, which I enjoyed. Also tried Lucky… just okay. Now onto the new show Nocturne.
