    This sucks.
    Having to go through this just sucks. I'm sorry about all of this. Wish people could figure out ways to get along.

    Having to give up 1/2 your stuff also sucks. You guys built things together over all the years and now you have to sit and devide all of this up.

    In ways I feel selling the house might benefit you more but then where to you live? With prices in housing and renting, having a paid off house is remarkable in today's economy . But having to come up with 1/2 the value sucks.

    I'm sorry man, sorry you have to figure all of this out. Life throws wrenches at us and we have to figure out how to move forward. I have no idea what the right answers are for you situation, it's like an open conversation that would need to be had to bounce this idea and that idea off of to come down to what would work out.

    Either way I wish you well and a smooth figured out process.
