Monitor Silver S10 Speakers

I have a bead on a local pair in really nice condition and I have been looking to move to floor standers. They would be powered by an all tube integrated.
Thoughts or experiences with the Monitor Silver series folks?

    So the Monitor Audio Silver series going back series are all excellent speakers. Each year however they make small but meaningful upgrades and tweaks. They are on 8g right now and they appear to be incredible. I have not heard the 8g series yet but plan on soon.

    The 7g series , last models were just unbelievable at their price point. Such beautiful cabinets , very even clear open sound and what is very nice about Monitor Audio speakers in general is that they can play anything you throw at them and sound very good doing so. Some speakers sound wonderful playing certain kinds of sounds and then fall on their faces with other kinds of sounds. This is why I branched myself into this brand.

    I have been installing them since 2008 and kept being overly impressed with everything they make. The older models going back all were impressive. So I suggest checking them out, any year any series any model and you will find a damn good sounding speaker.
