    I heard a pair of these many years ago. I thought they sounded great then. I've only rarely seen these locally to me.
    Sounds like he wants a trade only. $3,500.00 seems very high! They're not perfect either!

    I've never had the pleasure to listen to any ADS speakers. Folks sure liked them.

    I have read more than few opinions that the model just below the L910 actually sounds superior. They were usally the type who looked for and longed for the top model for years and were really disappointed when they finally heard them. I think the L810 is the model to go after.

    I've had a few pair of ADS speakers come and go here and my favorites were the 1530's. The 810's were very nice for large bookies and I had a hard time deciding between them and the 880's I had at the same time. Then I brought home a pair of 1230's which sent both of them to new homes. They all had a nice non fatiguing sound to them that you could listen all day without tiring of them. Sadly my 1530's lost out on a head to head comparison with my 1.2tls so I no longer own any ADS speakers.
    I agree those 910's are vastly overpriced.

    I've owned a few sets of ADSs.

    I loved the floorstanders I had. L12.... I also liked the little bookies they made. I had the L710s w/original stands too. I was an idiot to sell that combo fairly cheap! The young guy was super nice so...Karma for him I guess.

    I still have my L810s. They DO sound great. <3

    I heard the model for sale above and the huge floor standers that have the beveled corner. They were very impressive, to say the least. The man was powering his ADSs with Adcom amps. Huge ones. B)
