    That is correct... I have on the other hand listened to several Bose models and was never like eww turn that shhh off. Try em' out they might sound good. Who knows maybe Bose was getting it wrong and the OA12s totally rock!

    The Stig Carlsson-designed Sonab loudspeakers used good drivers (Peerless, mostly, perhaps exclusively?) and always sounded good to me.
    Soundscape sold Sonab components for a while back in the day, and used to have a couple of pairs of Sonab Carlsson speakers set up.
    They were quite expensive.
    If I wanted "placement friendly", room-filling (sonically) loudspeakers and I could be choosy (as opposed to being opportunistic), I'd look also at Roy Allison's loudspeakers of the 1970s and beyond. Very, very fine.
