Going though old pics trying to better organize them. I picked up these SRS 2's with cat scratch fever locally in 2005. Aside from the cat damage the wood was in nice shape. Totally reclothed, xover upgrade, tweeter swap. Original owner had the Polk manual, spikes, footers, AI-1 non-common ground interface. Eventually I went with other speakers and forget who purchased them or where they are now.
He was using an underpowered receiver and blew the tweeters. Polk customer service were very nice and replaced them under warranty but strongly suggested he get a better amp or it would happen again. Owner had jotted down in manual "Adcom GFA-555." He wanted to ensure it never happened again so he purchased two 555's and bi-amped them. I purchased one of the amps. Great memories.

The OEM 1:1 transformer.

I blew a lot of tweeters in my sda2a speakers with an adcom GFA 555. I haven't blown any tweeters with my Krell ksa 300s amplifier.
