What could be the issue if my 705 'passes the battery test for response, but no sound from my a functioning avr, where only one speaker works.

Have you ran through the AVR menu to double check everything?
  • Thank you for your help 🙏. Didn't have to, because everything had been just great until I disconnected it. It played again for a while and when I tried to connect it to a tube integrated amplifier, nothing went my way . Again thank you for your support

If only one speaker works, swap the speaker leads from the speaker that does work to the channel that doesn't, and vice versa. If the issue follows the speaker, then you have a speaker issue. If the same thing happens, you have an AVR issue. This will be the same, regardless of whether you use the AVR or the tubed integrated.
