That's the problem; Some stones have enough room but lots don't and there's no real pattern to the rows. Then there's the markers, raised lots, trees, bushes, flags, flower pots and a few old stones that have tipped over. I use my 16" wide battery mower which is faster than my trimmer but it's still a chore and at 70yo I'm the youngest guy there. Perhaps a perfectly laid out and well manicured cemetery like Arlington would work.

Gotcha, definite limitations for tight spaces and perimeters. With robot mowers you still have to weed eat and edge maybe every 2 weeks. So far I spend about ten minutes every 2 weeks

Neighbor has one, instead sitting down admiring a fresh cut lawn and enjoying a cold one after mowing, he sits down enjoying a cold one while his yard is being mowed.
