Hi All! I've been into car audio on and off for a couple decades and just picked up a pretty rare setup. It's New in Box Mobile Monitor mm 3a speakers. Original tape, warranty cards, inserts, wiring are all there.

The only thing close info I could find was one image of a mm10a and a brochure from this forum. I could barely find anything on them and thought you all would find the most interest on the internet. If anything, it'll be documented for the next stranger to find.

I don't really have a personal project plan at this point, so tbd on what I'll be doing with them. I kind of feel guilty putting them into anything if there's a diehard collector still on this forum.

Happy to answer any questions on them or provide certain pics!

Maybe Polk was the premium brand Volvo used in that era?

Good catch. Because those are Volvo speakers behind Polk Audio grills.

Often times people buy an upgrade and put the original device that was upgraded back into the box the new part came in. I see it all the time on Facebook marketplace when sellers list something based on the box and the part inside doesn't match the box. This is really common with computer parts, car parts, phono cartridiges, etc. It happens often with estate sales and storage unit sales too.
