Too true. There aren’t many albums that I used to like that I don’t care if I ever hear again, but that one is close to the top of the list;-)

My wife's birthday is today, but she said she would help put the house wrap up. I felt good, and the wind was very mild, so today was the day.
It went ok for the most part. A few ripples, but not bad for an elderly homeowner and his wife. took about 5 hours or more. Good for another 15 years, or siding will be hung before then. I or we will put the sidewalk boards back in place tomorrow.
I will tape the joints too. Tyveck tape.

Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Oh, how we age differently. There's no stopping it.

A lot of Actors, now and then. Very well done!
I believe Patrick Swayze was showing the woes of his Pacreatic Cancer in the video montage they show here. :'(

If you go to the panhandle Florida and Alabama Gulf beaches from the Atlanta area, Montgomery is definitely on the trip map. Over the years, I have visited quite a few BBQ joints while making the road trip and other road trips west into Alabama.
Here is a joint, Brenda's Bar-B-Q Pit, I just read about in a story titled "I spent a year eating my way through Alabama—here are 13 spots I can't wait to revisit" from Southern Living Magazine.
I have not been to Brenda's Bar-B-Q Pit but the Pig Ear menu items caught my attention.
This Montgomery Alabama barbecue joint has been smoking since 1942
Donetta Bethune started helping her grandmother Jereline Bethune at Brenda's Bar-B-Q Pit when she was a little girl growing up in Montgomery, Ala. She now co-owns the 78-year-old barbecue joint with her father, Larry Bethune Sr.(Photo by Art Meripol, from the book "Alabama Barbecue: Delicious Road Trips")

Just yesterday, I drove to my "hometown" of Bremen Georgia (West 60+ miles on rural roads) for the funeral of my first cousin. That drive takes me through Dallas Georgia. There is a BBQ place that was my Father's favorite BBQ place - Hickory Hut. The Logo picture below shows "since 1965", but for a long time, it was known as The Hickory House, but something happened about owner (James Russom Craton) retiring, selling some of his recipes to another BBQ place in nearby Hiram, GA, and, when he decided to reopen, the name had to be changed to The Hickory Hut to avoid any conflict. I remember William Russom Craton as the owner and always cooking and cutting the pork hams. I think William Russom Craton age 54 possibly died of Covid in 2021.
I had decided on returning to my home in Marietta, I would stop there to have a late lunch. I was so disappointed when I drove up and Hickory Hut was closed for Good Friday and the weekend for Easter.
I have seen many members of the family operating the restaurant over the years. Lots of Old School Values!

I guess it's time for a larger birdbath. -
^^^ that's wild, @WagnerRC!

Meanwhile, all we's gots is turkeys... lots of turkeys... and they're gettin' hormonal.

We've had a pine warbler at our feeders, briefly, several times over the last few days. I've yet to get a decent photo of it. This is the closest I've gotten -- danged bird was takin' flight as I tripped the shutter!

The snake of course.
I would say she's borderline exquisite. -

I bought some paint (5 gal.) that matched the old, but I picked "Satin gloss" instead of flat. It sure looks fresher.
I still have a lot of the front of the barn shed to paint. It got too hot to finish the front, so I moved to the cottage's side porch, which had needed painting for years. I can't believe how great it looks now.
I put the sidewalk platforms back in place, too.
I'll still put the plastic-wood rain splatter boards at the bottom of the wall like before.

Nice!
We don't get them 'til very late spring. It's always a bit jarring, but exciting* to see one (or more) show up at the freeders. At a glance, they look like refinished goldfinch.

* Yeah... we don't get out much.
