Damaged Polk R200 case
Hello
I’m looking for information on whether it’s possible to buy a speaker case, and if so, where? My child knocked over an R200 speaker and damaged the case. The distributor says it’s not possible to buy the cabinet as a separate part. Do you perhaps know if and where I can buy one?
Best regards

Hello,
Welcome! I would call Polk's CS department at 1-800-377-7655 and follow prompts for the parts department. -
Hopefully you can get a replacement and the drivers didn't get damaged in the fall. To prevent this from happening (with kids or clumsy adults in the house), I suggest having a very heavy, mass loaded base and using a generous amount of blue-tack adhesive to make sure they are not easily knocked off.

Don't take experimental gene therapies from known eugenicists.

When my kids were little I had my RTA-11TLs and LSi15s towers secured to the floor with metal straps. The kids used to like to climb behind them and I was afraid they might knock them over on a sibling. It wasn't best for SQ but safer. The R200 are bookies so you would need a way to also secure them to the (strapped or heavily weighted) stands.Stan
