Even back to the Nash days, I believe... and it persisted, zombie-like, past their demise thanks mostly to Jeep (Jeep/Eagle).

The very mention of "Eagle" belongs on the,"You know you are old when" thread. LOL

Exactly!

In the spirit of doing it wrong and being old enough to remember Eagle...
I tried to convince my dad that I needed to buy an Eagle Talon that was at a local body shop (abandoned) and fix it back up, as my first car.
He promptly shut it down, and I was allowed to purchase our neighbors Grand Am from them before they moved to Texas.
In hindsight, he was 100% correct.

I still have mine under it's original banner, Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX but I've also have it's Chrysler cousin Dodge Stealth RT/TT. Pretty much everything more interesting than these two turbocharged AWD cars are too small to fit in.

I don't know what Elon calls them but the term I've always heard was rapid unplanned disassembly, RUD and it pre-dates Spacex by quite a bit maybe going back to the 50's when lots of our launches failed to clear the pad.

I use parentheses and brackets liberally when I math, because I've never, ever been able to keep that order of operations stuff straight.

What Exactly Is Alabama White Sauce?
Versus most tomato-based sauces, Alabama white sauce uses mayonnaise as the base, making it silky smooth and creamy. The typical ingredients for Alabama white sauce are a healthy heaping of mayonnaise and vinegar. The combination of the two gives the sauce its quintessential tang. A generous amount of black pepper gives it a kick.
Where Did Alabama White Sauce Originate?
White sauce was brought into the world by Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q in Decatur, Alabama, around 1925. Famous for its whole chickens smoked in massive hickory-fed pits, the slow-smoked meat was dunked into the one-of-a-kind white sauce once it was perfectly cooked.
Rumor has it this sauce helped the chicken stay moist (and quite delicious) while waiting on friends and customers to dine."Sometimes you have to look to the past to understand where you are going in the future"Harry / Marietta GA

Another Bob Gibson's in Omaha. Hard to find a good photo of the building as it was torn down
maybe 25-30 years ago.
