    Took me a while.

There was a non-zero chance it would take a minute.

Yup. The Romans had no zero. Poor suckers... gotta wonder how they managed to build roads (and other things) some of which are still in use two millennia later. ;)

They knew the shortest distance between two points is a straight line and therefore were the masters of building straight roads.

"The straightest distance between two lines is a point. Err, something like that."
That was one of the taglines for a local radio station here back in the 90s called, The Point.

Always got a chuckle at that. It was so ridiculous when you tried to picture it.

I've been called worse by worse.

NO! And I need to. Might be getting late for that here, though. I might just squeak by. Or I may live vicariously through your farming successes. My last few seasons have been frustrating. Decimated by these funky stinkbug looking things, except with extended limbs, and deformed tomatoes. I had better luck years back using plain old pots and miracle-grow potting mix.

And jalapeños without heat, which I understand is from too much water.

can you even eat those things?!? I tried habanero once and they just tasted like soap. prob would have gone well with cilantro under the pits. or not. anyone's who's jalapeno'd themselves knows what I'm talkin' about. that oil thing is real. first time was an eye rub during 7-11 nacho jalapenos when I was in 6th grade. likely more a juice thing, but similar. thought I was gonna go blind. (that other blindness cause thing I found to be a complete myth, fwiw.)
