3 Month Old Sigma S2 Subwoofer Making Deep Distorted Sound

Hi guys, I have an S2 sub that is 3 moths old and it's making deep distorted booming sounds, almost as though it's blown, but we do not ever have the volume higher than normal listening volumes. It was working correctly, we shut the TV off and then back on to watch about 15 minutes later. No other changes. I tried restarting multiple times and unplugging to reset. Any help appreciated!

Hello,
So the soundbar is working correctly but the subwoofer is distorted? -
Yes, that's correct. Very odd.

Does the subwoofer produce distortion all the time, or just during certain scenes in a movie. Does the subwoofer volume control make a difference?
-
Volume doesn't seem to make a difference, other than making the soundbar and sub quieter. It's a very hard sound to explain. I first thought my son was pushing a toy car around in the floor above me until I muted it. Then realized it was the subwoofer. I unplugged it hoping that it would reset. Maybe it's ghosts. :-)

From the experiences others have had that could be caused by interference from other wireless devices. As a test can you switch off your router and see if the problem goes away?

Bought one recently & it's the same issue. Warbles constantly & there's a deep rumble like distant thunder whenever there's sound coming through. Did the Router fix work?
