Shylock is a French, instrumental progressive rock trio (who expanded to a quartet) from Nice that were active in the early to mid 1970's. Their very French style also had notable King Crimson influences due to the Frippian guitar of Frédéric L'Épée and expressive Bruford like drum work of André Fisichella, but with the keyboards of Didier Lustig taking the music to original different realms. Guitarist Frédéric L'Épée later played in Philharmonie.
