Man, I miss Ken Swauger!

Ken was the kind of guy that could make miracles happen back in the day. He’d send the occasional freebie, dig through somebody’s desk drawer to find an odd part, and he was just always a straight up good guy. I’ve been around here a while and he helped me with my RT16/12/CS350LS system, my LSi system, and I’m super bummed that he’s no longer here to chat about my LSiM system that I’m knocking together.
Sucks getting old. Godspeed and I hope Ken is doing well! He’s a good egg.

He is still around. He retired from Polk and along with retirement, his moderator account was retired as well.
He is still the Ken we knew and loved, but his moniker is now @SeleniumFalcon and his sense of humor has gotten better. I guess that's pne perk of.being retired...

Hello Jason,
Thank you for the kind words. I'm kind of like the old war horse that still twitches his ears when he hears a bugle. It looks like you're enjoying an excellent system, the three "Ps", Polk, Parasound and Pioneer Elite.
Cheers, Ken -
He also is still helpin' damsels in distress... umm, I mean, Polk owners in need.
I mean... they could be damsels... but they don't have to be...
umm...
well, you know!

Daggum, I guess you can tell when I type on a small phone with Gorilla fingers.
This thread has gotten weird. But, I guess that is par for the course here...
Anyhoo, I....for one, am glad he's still around.

Great to hear from you Ken, after all these years. You inspired me to update my profile too. That gear was pretty far out of date, but it was fun to take a walk down memory lane. Yeah, the Polk emblem is missing on my right 707, and Polk just flat out said there’s no way to get it. Heck, back in the day, you would have found one on a dusty shelf somewhere and saved my life. Lol! Oh well, the hunt continues in different ways now. I’m glad to hear things are going well for you, and seeing some of the guys from back in the day that chimed in here really makes me miss the old days.
Cheers!
